Itinerary:
Day 1 (Aswan-Abu Simbel)
Egypt Sunset Tour Representative would pick you up at 3 am to leave Aswan for Abu Simbel early in the morning. In about three hours you will be at Shokan Mountain – the spot where your desert adventure starts. During your safari trip you will be able to make two stops – at the Shitan Mountains – and take some photos before proceeding to Lake Nasser. Take a small boat journey on the lake; enjoy the fabulous natural landscape and panoramic view of Abu Simbel and Bird Mountain, known as White Mountain. In the evening you can take an optional tour to the Sound and Light Show at Abu Simbel or just rest in your hotel room.
Day 2 (Abu Simbel-Aswan)
At 4 am in the morning you would be transferred to the great temples of Abu Simbel to witness the Man-made Solar Phenomenon of Abu Simbel. Twice a year, on October 22 and February 22, the rays of the sun illuminating the Holiest of the Holy, a small room with four statues: Ptah, Amun-Ra, Ramesses, and Ra-Horakhty. The sun shines on the last three status but leaves the statue of Ptah, the god of darkness, in shadow. Outside the Temple, you will enjoy performances by Nubian folklore groups. Temples were constructed in the 13th century BC in commemoration of the Pharaoh Ramesses II tactical victory at the Battle of Kadesh. Interestingly, the temples of Ramesses and his wife Nefertari cut in the solid rock were almost completely buried in the sand until 1817, when Italian explorer Giovanni Belzoni dug out the entrance to the temples, which were relocated from their original site in 1968 in order to save them from being inundated after the construction of the Aswan High Dam. Abu Simbel is included to the UNESCO World Heritage Site list. At the end of the day you would be driven back to the hotel in Abu Simbel to have breakfast. you will check out of your hotel and our driver and tour guide will take you back to the hotel in Aswan.

If cancellation happens due to personal or business reasons and Egypt Sunset Tours has already incurred costs on your behalf, these costs will be transferred to you.
